“Yes please, I will take a cup”.
It was just yesterday I thought to myself
how blessed we are;
amidst a time in our history
where we are seemly trapped by a virus
just sitting here, makes me wonder
what if this didn’t happen.
We would be so busy
and forget to appreciate
all that’s around us.
When I got up this morning
and listened to the sounds around,
I welcomed the life within
my gift from God above.
There are days when it seems heavy
the burdens we place on ourselves
to achieve in our labour
when all else is meaningless.
“Thank you for the cup.”
