It is falling outside
it is bearing it all
it is taking time
to shed
the waking of the days gone by.

I will miss the shoulders
of the padded leaves
and the birds and bees
the fluttering branches on the trees
from the attempts of the hidden breeze.

How can I bring you in
from the space that decided to send you away
I don’t want you to leave
Is there space inside for me
to see and feel
and realize the time we had together
for I can’t let you go but I must.

“Hey everyone, let’s go make outside our inside”.

One of the amazing things about writing is not just the words that get penned on paper but the voices that share in the journey after the thoughts are released. Writing gives a voice to the writer, the audience and life to the words that connect the two.
