Normal

The tap that seems to just flow when we turn it on
The light that shines at the flip of the switch
The daily routine in the vein of living
Normal?

Passing by the ones we love
Busy to stop and pray to the one above
Trust into the mode of living the way we think
Normal?

A land we were given to care
Abilities and gifts to daily share
Family and friends to keep near
A God who made it all that we fear.

Open this day my heart to You
Believe and trust, humbled to do
A cause to pause and look to You
Heal our land This day I pray.

All over the earth Your light will shine
For Your love gives hope
To those who call inside
And rest assured He will come in
To forgive us from all our sins.

This way forward, life a new
no looking back to live as you do
seeing a difference this is true
the awakening, no longer Normal.
